WHAT IS A PEDIATRIC OPHTHALMOLOGIST?

If your kid has an eye condition, has difficulties reading or learning, or fails a vision screening, your primary care doctor may refer your child to a pediatric ophthalmologist. Your child's eyes are not the same as those of adults, just as children are not miniature adults.
